Profile for Ogbonna Anyanwu

Ogbonna Anyanwu, PhD, is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages, University of Uyo, Nigeria where he had been the Head of Department and editor of the Department’s Journal, USEM, Journal of Languages, Linguistics and Literature. He was a co-editor of California Linguistic Notes (CLN), a journal of the Department of English, Comparative Literature and Linguistics, California State University, Fullerton, California, USA. His research interests include Comparative Morpho-Syntax, Semantics, Language Endangerment Studies and Socio-Pragmatic Studies. He has also published widely in these areas in both national and international journals of Languages and Linguistics. He is the author of The Syntax of Igbo Causatives: A Minimalist Account, a pioneering research work on the Igboid Causatives.
